A state sentence has been handed down to a Montgomery County man in connection to a rape on the campus of West Chester University. Kyle Vo has been sentenced to a prison term of six to 12 years in state prison after being found guilty of rape of an unconscious person, aggravated indecent assault without consent, and sexual assault. The rape occurred in the early morning hours of January 22nd, 2015. A group of individuals, including both Vo and the victim, were in a room in Commonwealth Hall on campus drinking alcohol. According to the victim, she began to feel dizzy and drifted out of consciousness when Vo began to approach her. She fell asleep for a brief moment of time and woke up to find Vo on top of her having sex. When the victim told Vo to stop, he refused and kept going. Along with the state prison sentence, Vo will also serve five years consecutive probation.
